The 'High School Musical' star's jaw is wired shut.
Zac Efron has broken his jaw after an accidental fall in his LA home. The actor is said to have slipped in a puddle of liquid resulting in a jaw broken so badly it needed to be wired shut and a nasty gash that required stitches, according to E! Online.
Zac Efron Has Slipped In A Puddle.
It's safe enough to say that the 26 year-old will be out of the spotlight for a while as he gets all healed up. The accident has reportedly put the promotional plans for his new movie That Awkward Moment on hold until he is photo-ready again.
Naturally, the news has provoked an air of scepticism regarding how his jaw could be broken so badly after just a puddle slip. It has recently emerged that the High School Musical actor spent time in rehab earlier this year to deal with his cocaine problem.
The Puddle Was So Slippy That Zac Broke His Jaw.
About seven months ago, Efron sought treatment for what was initially believed to be an alcohol problem that was later claimed to be cocaine addiction. His drug issues are said to have affected his ability to work when he was filming Seth Rogen's Neighbours at the time and reportedly spiralled due to girl problems, issues with his parents, and a dissatisfaction with his movie career.
Now Efron is said to be back on the straight and narrow but is allegedly finding it hard to stay clean after years of heavy partying, according to TMZ.
