Sky Atlantic’s hugely popular horror drama, ‘Penny Dreadful’, is coming back for a second season. From highly acclaimed writer John Logan and Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes, the show will come back with 10 new episodes in 2015.

The show, which weaves together classic horror origin stories, which is half way into its freshman run, but it has been revealed – according to Deadline – that writing for the second season is already well under way. Showtime and Sky Atlantic’s confidence in the drama is underlined by a 10-episode follow up, compared to the 8 episodes that comprise the first season.
