So far every single Nicki Minaj releases off her third studio album 'The Pinkprint,' out December 15th, is very personal to the rapper, which is a far cry from the brash, confident hip-hop artist her fans are accustomed to seeing.

Minaj gets very personal in 'All Things Go'

This theme doesn't change in Minaj's latest single 'All Things Go,' dropped on Wednesday (Dec 3rd), in which she raps about wishing her child could have grown up with her younger brother Micaiah.

"I want Caiah to go to college just to say we did it," the lyrics read. "My child with Aaron, would've been 16 any minute / So in some ways I feel like Caiah is the both of them / It's like he's Cai's little angel looking over him."

Although it is unknown how Minaj lost her child, this tragic incident clearly occurred when she was a teenager.

The candid track also reveals another life changing event that happened to the Grammy-winner during her early 20s - getting engaged. She rhymes: "Ten years ago, that's when you proposed / I look down, yes I suppose."

Minaj further delved into some past issues with her family, this time addressing problems with her mother that seem to be still effecting the star today. "I love my mother more than life itself and that's a fact," she says. "I'd give it all if I could somehow just rekindle that/ She never understands why I'm so over-protective/ The more I work the more I feel like their neglected."
