Don Draper, getting off a plane, in slow motion, while putting on his hat. Yep, the Mad Med season 7 teaser is finally here and it's already got Reddit buzzing into action. According to Rolling Stone, the clip was originally set to remixed version of 'Que Sera, Sera' before changing to a more optimistic track later on. Mild spoilers to follow.

Ok, so the clip gives away pretty much NOTHING about what we've got to come in season 7, but it's Don Draper getting off a plane in slow motion - so who's bothered?

We know that Don hit rock bottom at the end of the sixth season, though a set of teaser images released prior to the trailer so everyone's favorite creative director hanging out outside the Algonquin Hotel in New York City, suggesting he may (a) got his job back at Sterling Cooper or (b) he set up on his own.

Like AMC's other signature drama Breaking Bad, the final season of Mad Men will be split into two - in this case, two seven-episode halves.

"We plan to take advantage of this chance to have a more elaborate story told in two parts, which can resonate a little bit longer in the minds of our audience," show creator Matthew Weiner said of the split last year. "The writers, cast and other artists welcome this unique manner of ending this unique experience."

Mad Men, set in the 1960s, initially at the fictional Sterling Cooper advertising agency on Madison Avenue in New York City, had won fifteen Emmy Awards and four Golden Globes. It is widely considered one of the greatest dramas of all time and ranked seventh in a list of the 101 best written TV series of all time, by the Writers Guild of America.

The first half of the final season of Mad Men premieres on April 13, 2014. The second half comes in Spring 2015.
