It looks like Lindsay Lohan will be able to enjoy the Superbowl from the comfort of her own home this weekend, after completing her community service hours in the nick of time. It’s good news for the actress as aside from the fact jail is pretty unpleasant, a stint behind bars would mean Lilo would her appearance in Esurance's Super Bowl advert on Sunday.

Lindsay LohanPhew. Lilo is said to have escaped jail time

TMZ reports that the actress completed her required 240 hours at the Community Service Volunteers (CSV) center in London. She will receive a letter of completion which will be presented to a Los Angeles judge by her lawyer Shawn Holley on Wednesday.

It was a race against the clock, as Lohan had widely been reported to be in danger of not completing the required number of hours in time. As of her last progress report hearing in early November, Lohan was said to have still had 138 hours to complete.

Despite Lohan being handed the community service in Los Angeles the actress was allowed to complete her hours in the UK, where she has been living and working in recent months.

However TMZ reports that it is still unclear wether Lohan has actually completed the hours or if she’ll have a few left to do before the court hearing on Wednesday. But since London is 8 hours ahead of Los Angeles, for once the actress will have time on her side.

But Lindsay didn't seem to be too worried about the possibility of jail on Sunday night, when People magazine spotted the actress partying until the early hours in Paris nightclub Le Titty Twister. "[She] came in with two friends around 3 in the morning and stayed until around 5, 5:30," a source told the magazine. Adding, "She danced and amused herself a lot."

Lohan was handed probation and the community service after pleading no contest to reckless driving after a car crash in June 2012. But the 2012 crash wasn't the first of Lohan's list of problems behind the wheel, something which she appears to be poking fun at in her Esurance Super Bowl commercial.

In a quick teaser entitled ‘Time to crash the big game. #sorta', posted to Lindsay’s Facebook page, the actress is seen sitting in a car asking, "Anybody need a ride to the big game?” Given Lindsay’s track record we’re pretty sure she’s nobody first choice for designated driver, even if she does have good insurance.
