Last week Lil Wayne surprised his fans by publically criticising Cash Money Records, the label that released all of his previous albums, for delaying the release of his latest studio album 'Tha Carter V,' and now the rapper blasts the record label once again while on stage.

Lil Wayne addressed his issues with Cash Money Records on stage Friday (Dec 5th)

When the 32-year-old star was performing at Vice's 20th anniversary party on Friday (Dec 5th), he addressed his displeasure with Cash Money Records to the audience, stating, "I was supposed to drop my new album December 9, but due to technical difficulties, I'm f-ed up, in a bad situation, but I will be out of it soon and I do it for ya'll."

Although no new release date was announced, many fans have took Wayne's statement as confirmation that he will be leaving the record label if he and Birdman cannot resolve their issues.

However, as the Grammy-winner resigned with the record label in April 2012 for four more studio albums, he is still contractually obliged to release another three until he is free. Under this current deal, he has only released 2012's 'I Am Not A Human Being II.'

The rap star initially took to Twitter to explain to his fans why 'Tha Carter V' was delayed once again.

"To all my fans, I want you to know that my album won't and hasn't been released bekuz [label co-founder] Baby and Cash Money Records refuse to release it," he wrote in a series of tweets last week. "This is not my fault. I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation."

"I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain't that easy," he continued. "I am a prisoner and so is my creativity. Again, I am truly sorry and I don't blame ya if ya fed up with waiting for me and this album. But thank you."
