Wrestler Mark Schultz, whose story inspired Bennett Miller's Oscar-tipped movie Foxcatcher, has denounced the filmmaker for what he believes is an unfair portrayal of his life. Schultz was initially supportive of the movie though unleashed his anger at Miller on Twitter and Facebook this week.

"YOU CROSSED THE LINE MILLER. WE'RE DONE. YOU'RE CAREER IS OVER. YOU THINK I CAN'T DO IT. WATCH ME," he said in the first of several posts.

"YOU THINK I'M GOING TO SIT BACK AND WATCH YOU DESTROY MY NAME AND REPUTATION I SWEAT BLOOD FOR. YOU AINT' SEEN NOTHING YET DUDE," he added.

"Everything I've ever said positive about the movie I take back. I hate it. i hate it. i hate it. I hate it. i hate it. i hate it. I hate it," he said.

"I HATE BENNETT MILLER," he finished, hilariously.

Schultz clarified his issues with the movie, expressing unhappiness with the way some critics noticed apparent sexual undertones between Schultz (played by Channing Tatum) and Steve Carell's character John Du Pont.

"I told Bennett Miller to cut that scene out and he said it was to give the audience the feeling that duPont was encroaching on your privacy and personal space. I wasn't explicit so I didn't have a problem with it. Then after reading 3 or 4 reviews interpreting it sexually, and jeopardizing my legacy, they need to have a press conference to clear the air, or I will," he wrote.

Foxcatcher tells the story of the notorious Du Pont, heir to the Du Pont fortune who created a state of the art Olympic wrestling facility at his property. There he created the talented 'Foxcatcher' wrestling team.

The strange thing about all this is that Schultz was often present on the set of the film, helping Tatum out with his portrayal. The former sports star even changed his Facebook profile picture to one of him and Miller promoting Foxcatcher at the Cannes Film Festival.
