We knew something was coming our way from camp Beyonce soon and we right, as Queen Bey has officially announced the release of the Beyonce Platinum Edition Box Set. The four disc set will hit shelves on November 24th and feature a DVD of a concert from her 'Mrs. Carter Show' World Tour.

BeyonceThere's two new Beyonce tracks coming our way!

The box set might now exactly count as a new Beyonce album, but it will feature two new tracks ‘7/11’ and ‘Ring Off’. As well as four new remixes, including the Nicki Minaj collaboration ‘Flawless’.

There’ll also be a remix of ‘Blow’ done by Pharrell Williams and ‘Standing in the Sun’ will get a reworking courtesy of Mr Vegas. Fans will also finally get to hear the long awaited version of 'Drunk In Love' which features both Jay Z and Kanye West.

The Platinum Edition will also come with Beyoncé's 2015 mini-calendar, while of course including the original Beyonce CD/DVD combo that was released last year.

But if you were one of the thousands who digitally purchased the album when it arrived last December, don't worry. You won't have to fork out again, instead you will be given the option of buying only the new material this time around.

The announcement of the Platinum Edition Box Set comes just days after a ‘leaked memo’ was circulated around the internet claiming that Beyonce would drop her second surprise album on November 14th.

However it now seems mostly likely that two new tracks and a few remixes is all we’re getting by way of new material from Beyonce this Christmas. Still, it’s better than nothing.
