It’s the Star Wars rumour that won't go away so let's ask again, can we really expect to see Benedict Cumberbatch in the upcoming Episode VII?  Well if you’d asked us a few months ago we probably would have said don't count on it, but now we’re feeling slightly more positive thanks to Benedict's recent appearance on the 'Graham Norton Show'.

Yes when Benedict popped by the BBC chat show on Friday (October 24th) the actor was once again asked wether he’d be appearing in JJ Abrams upcoming movie. But this time the 38 year old appeared not to rule it out by coyly saying, "No comment.”

Cumberbatch then went on to reveal he had visited the set describing it as “incredible.” However the actor soon realised he should be more careful with his answers and told Norton, "I probably shouldn't be saying these things.”

The ‘Sherlock’ star was appearing on the long running chat show beside Han Solo himself, Harrison Ford. Whether or not the two will be working together in the future is unclear, but Ford certainly was impressed by Cumberbatch’s Chewbacca impression which appeared to take the actor back in time momentarily.

Filming for Star Wars Episode VII is said to be wrapping within the next three weeks, according to producer Kathleen Kennedy. The film is set 30 years after 1983’s Episode VII and will see the return of many of the franchise's original cast including Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill.
