Affleck was enjoying a game at the high rollers’ table of the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas when security suspected him of using the strategy. Although card counting is not illegal, it can get a player barred from the game.

The incident was said to have happened shortly after 10pm on Tuesday, when an alert sent out by the casino stated that Affleck “uses perfect basis”, a common tern for card counting. In the alert, published by Radar, Affleck is said to be “currently suspected of advantage play,” adding that he “also takes insurance according to the count.”
