Armie Hammer has declared he is not a cannibal as he’s never eaten anyone.
The ‘Call Me by Your Name’ actor, is battling to resurrect his career and clear his name after he was hit by a string of allegations in 2021 including emotional abuse, manipulation and rape – and the infamous accusation he harboured cannibalism fantasies.
He was asked by Piers Morgan, 59, on the presenter’s YouTube show, if he was a cannibal – with Armie replying: “You know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to have actually eaten somebody.”
The actor also confirmed he had not eaten anyone.
Armie insisted during the chat on ‘Piers Morgan Uncensored’ the allegations stemmed from consensual sexual acts and role playing.
The actor did admit in the talk to branding his ex-girlfriend Paige Lorenze with a knife – but insisted there “wasn’t even blood”.
He said about Paige’s 2021 allegation he used a knife to “brand” her with his initial ‘A’ near her private parts while they were dating for four months in 2020: “I wouldn’t say brand, no. There was a scenario that we talked about beforehand, that we had discussed where, you know, I would basically take a little, tiny point and just kind of trace the letter ‘A’ – just like the tip of a small knife.
“I mean, there wasn’t even blood in the situation. It was more like a scrape… It’s along the lines of couples getting their own initials tattooed on each other.”
When Piers, 59, said using a knife on someone is “a bit different to a tattoo”, Armie insisted it was “less permanent”.
He added: “I guarantee it was such a small thing.”
Influencer Paige, 26, told Page Six about the knife incident: “I kind of sat back and let it happen. I didn’t really know what to do or say… as sad as that is, I wanted him to like me and feel like I was down for what he wanted.”
Paige claimed Armie wanted her to show off her bruises and be “proud” of the marks.
She added: “I said, ‘How am I supposed to see other people when I have bruises?’
“He said, ‘That’s the point’. I think it was a part of marking and branding.”
Paige also said Armie wanted her to be his “little slave” and shared his bondage fantasies with her.
In January 2021, Armie was accused of “mentally, emotionally and sexually” abusing his ex-girlfriend Effie Angelova, 26, when she was 20 years old. He denied her rape claim and insisted their sexual encounters were consensual.)
His ex Courtney Vucekovich has also accused him of cannibalism, telling Page Six he allegedly told her he “wants to break my rib and barbecue and eat it” – a claim Armie also denied.
Six months before the allegations, Armie’s 42-year-old wife Elizabeth Chambers – with whom he has daughter Harper, nine, and seven-year-old boy Ford – filed for divorce.
