Despite Angelina Jolie's last film, The Tourist, having been released three years ago and underperforming, the actress has still topped Forbes' list of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood between June 2012 and June 2013, with an estimated $33 million (£21.6m) in the past year. Incredibly, her last year's salary is $13 million (£8.5m) more than the previous year and millions ahead of this year's second highest paid actress, Jennifer Lawrence, who starred in the Hunger Games and won an Oscar for Silver Linings Playbook.

Twilight actress Kristen Stewart came third in the list of highest paid actresses, having earned $22 million (£14.4m) this year after topping the list last year.
