Amy Poehler doesn't think her marriage to ex-husband Will Arnett was a failure.
The 'Parks & Recreation' star split from the 'Arrested Development' actor, with whom she has two sons, Archie, six, and Abel, four, in September 2013 after nine years of marriage, but is ''proud'' of how they've managed to put their differences aside to successfully co-parent their children.
In her new autobiography, 'Yes Please,' the 43-year-old actress writes: ''Imagine spreading everything you care about on a blanket and then tossing the whole thing up in the air.
''The process of divorce is about loading up that blanket, throwing it up, watching it all spin, and worrying what stuff will break when it lands.
''Getting a divorce really sucks.''
The former 'Saturday Night Live' star, who is now in a relationship with comedian Nick Kroll, 36, admits it is still ''too sad'' and ''too personal'' for her to share the reasons behind her divorce, but credits her close friend Louis CK for helping her to through it.
She added: ''I am proud of how my ex-husband, Will, and I have been taking care of our children. I am beyond grateful he is their father; and I don't think a ten-year marriage constitutes failure.''
