Jason, dead? I think not. Here he's on a bloody rampage against a bunch of kids at the camp next door to Crystal Lake, after taking out the redhead that did in his poor old mom in the original Friday (her stalking comprises one of the longest pre-credits sequences in film history). Don't give up. The titles are coming! Richly dated, my favorite moment is when one starlet ogles her new pair of satiny granny panties and tries them on to woo her boyfriend. It's as rich as they come, folks. Some of the murders are fantastic, but mostly this feels like nearly identical retread.
