Out in Britain in June, Mr Holmes stars Ian McKellen as an ageing Sherlock Holmes trying to solve a nagging unsolved mystery. The film reunites McKellen with Gods & Monsters director Bill Condon, and costars include Laura Linney and newcomer Milo Parker. The new teaser trailer promises an intriguing costume-style whodunit. There's also a new trailer for Self/less, a sci-fi movie centring on Ben Kingsley as a retiring architect who puts himself into suspended animation and inhabits Ryan Reynolds' body. And the first trailer has arrived for The Lady in the Van, based on a true story from screenwriter Alan Bennet's life about a woman lived in a van in his driveway for 15 years. It looks lively and funny, and a clear awards contender for Maggie Smith in the title role. The film costars Jim Broadbent, Dominic Cooper, James Corden and Frances de la Tour, and opens in November.
