Ella and Jake are the perfect couple. Following the incident on the carnival bumper-cars that brought them together, the two have been inseparable - despite many women trying to seduce Jake. He has remained faithful throughout, however, but one day, he receives a picture of Ella naked and surrounded by other men. Convinced that his wife is having an affair with him, Jake contemplates suicide, before engaging in his own string of affairs to get his own back. But when Ella hires a man to kill Jake for betraying her in such a way, everything begins to get a little bit strange.

'Cheatin'' is a French animated romantic drama from writer/director Bill Plympton ('Idiots and Angels', 'I Married A Strange Person!'), and has been nominated for Best Animated Feature, Best Directing in an Animated Feature Production and Best Music in a Feature Production at the 42nd Annual Annie Awards in Los Angeles. The film first opened at Sitges - Festival Internacional De Cinema Fantastic De Catalunya on 11th October 2013, before opening theatrically in France on 23rd April 2014, before than opening in Los Angeles on 15th August 2014.
