Isabelle is madly in love with her boyfriend of ten years Pierre and intends to marry him, but unfortunately for her a curse runs through her family which sees every first marriage end in divorce. In a bid to cheat her bloodline's fate, she decides to travel to Copenhagen to marry a stranger and subsequently divorce him so she will live happily ever after with Pierre. She meets Jean Yves, who falls madly in love with her, believing that she is also crazy about him. However, things go a bit complicated when the marriage comes about and she is left powerless over her situation when she is forced to come clean to him. She follows him to Kenya to try and get him to sign her divorce papers, but along the way begins to doubt her own feelings - about Jean, about Pierre and about her arranged marriage.

Originally 'Un Plan Parfait', this French comedy explores the crazy things people do for love if they believe enough in forces beyond their control. Directed by Pascal Chaumeil ('Heartbreaker', 'Clémence', 'Mer belle à agitée') and written by BAFTA nominee Laurent Zeitoun ('I Do', 'The 11 Commandments') and Yoann Gromb, 'A Perfect Plan' won four Jury Awards at the Newport Beach Film Festival. It is due for UK release on June 13th 2014.
