Kourtney Kardashian Buys New House

Kourtney Kardashian has splashed out $8 million on a new home.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star and her family - partner Scott Disick, son Mason, four, and daughter Penelope, 18 months - will count Justin Bieber among their new neighbours when they move into the lavish six-bedroom, nine-bathroom property in Calabasas, California, E! News reports.

The 12,000 sq ft property is set on almost two acres of grounds which boasts a wide range of amenities including a cabana and gazebo, sunken basketball court, pool, spa, sunken patios with outdoor fireplaces, fruit and shade trees and a barbecue centre.

Kourtney and Scott bought the house - which was built in 2011 and designed by architect Richard Landry - from ex-NFL star Keyshawn Johnson.

The former 'Dancing with the Stars' contestant had been trying to sell the house for some time and lowered the price on several occasions, before it was taken off the market on December 31 with an asking price of just over $8 million.

Before he left the neighbourhood, Keyshawn was involved in a dispute with Justin - who is currently being investigated over an egg-throwing incident at another home in the exclusive community - over his speeding around the area.

In May, the 'Baby' hitmaker was the subject of a string of complaints about his fast driving, prompting the sportsman to pay him a visit to tackle the problem.
