The 1987 sci-fi adventure Robocop is being remade for a new generation, with a new movie due out next year. Director José Padilha has managed to assemble a stellar cast of actors, including Samuel L. Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) is a Detroit police officer living a relatively peaceful life with his wife Clara (Abbie Cornish) and his young son David in 2028. Alex's life is turned upside down when a bomb goes off in his car and he is left with 80% burns on his body. Alex's chance of returning to his ordinary life or even surviving are looking slim until robot tech developers OmniCorp spot an opportunity to create a new robotic, crime-fighting soldier using Alex's body and keen mind for the law.
