VV Brown has released a captivating video for her upcoming single 'Samson' which is due out on July 14th 2013 and is set to feature on her second album 'Samson & Delilah' scheduled for release in September.

The video is an entrancing, black and white, slow mo film and a modern take on a biblical tale. It begins with the words 'Introducing Samson & Delilah, The Betrayal' amidst a background of kaleidscopic water effects. We then see a long haired man struggling with rope bound hands (representing Samson) before being taunted and intimidated by a beautiful woman holding scissors (representing Delilah). When she begins to cut his hair, he yells in anguish and seems to grow older and frailer by the second. The video ends with the words 'To Be Continued' leaving us literally grasping onto our seats in anticipation for the next episode. The song itself feels like an on-going crescendo, with slow pounding drums that seem to speed up and slightly drowned out sounding vocals as it laments the betrayal of Delilah.

VV's latest single has been co-produced by Mercury Prize winning producer Dave Okumu and marks the start of a new direction for the singer as it explores a darker edge of the electronic genre.
