Canadian indie pop twosome Fine Times are here with the video for their new single 'Hey Judas' which is taken from their debut self-titled album which came out in Canada September 2012 on Light Organ Records. The album will be released in the UK in April 2013.

The video is tribal, very macabre and highly colourful just like the track itself. We see the duo sat alone on a beach together before being ambushed by a vibrant masked tribal group who paint their faces. The song has a distinctively upbeat tune but the vocals are really the stand out feature in this track, courtesy of Matthew Moldowan. They are slow and rhythmic and present us with an infectious chorus bound to stick itself in our brains for at least a few days.

Moldowan and bassist Jeffrey Josiah Powell make up Fine Times following disbanding from their original outfit. It was something that they admitted was a risk when they joined up with producer Howard Redekopp, but is definitely worth it. The brilliantly catchy hooks in this awesome track were down to Moldowan's 'short attention span'; something he credits with creating an immediately engaging tune. 'If a record doesn't catch me in the first listen or two, I probably won't put it back on the record player', he says.
