Bow Wow And Missy Elliott Axe Shows Due To Grounded Flights

Rappers Bow Wow and Missy Elliott have been forced to cancel their Thursday (01Nov12) concerts in the United _A_rab Emirates after their flights were grounded due to Hurricane Sandy.

You Can Get It _A_ll hitmaker Bow Wow was slated to join Jason Derulo and Sean Kingston for a performance at the Dubai Caribbean Carnival in Burj Park on Thursday, but because of transportation problems caused by the post-tropical cyclone in New York City, he's now pulled out of the line-up.

A statement from an event organiser reads, "Bow Wow will not be able to perform on stage at the concert set to happen today, November 1, 2012. Due to the threat of Hurricane Sandy, flights from New York have been cancelled indefinitely and Bow Wow who was scheduled to arrive for his concert... will be unable to perform."

Missy Elliott was also sidelined by the superstorm, which shut down all of the Big _A_pple's airports - she was due to stage a free concert in _A_bu Dhabi on Thursday, but it has now been rescheduled for Friday (02Nov12).
