One fan takes a snap of the new star with her cell phone then another fan comes over apparently trying to fight back overwhelmed tears as she asks for a hug from Pattie before posing for a photo with her. Ms. Mallette has certainly touched a lot of hearts with her heart breaking story of abuse, abandonment and becoming the mother of a huge star and it's not surprise that it has made it into the New York Times Best Seller list.
