Jennifer Lopez had once fired a manager who had told her to lose weight. When talking to her previous 'Monster-In-Law' co-star Jane Fonda, Jennifer Lopez revealed how 'closed-minded' her previous manager had been.
The American Idol judge discussed the issue in an interview with Fonda. When Fonda had asked her that she had read once that Lopez had fired her manager for telling her to lose weight, Lopez replied: "I was just so infuriated that somebody said you couldn't have a little extra meat on you - because I was by no means fat! That was so mean and closed-minded. I was like: 'No, this is who I am and this is the type of woman that I grew up with and it was beautiful and there's no reason to be anybody but myself'." The singer, who has been named Woman of the Year by US Glamour also revealed that she is no longer feeling the pressure by Hollywood to diet by stating that "people know better" these days. Lopez has consistently been the focal attention by the media for her curvy and voluptuous figure. However, that will not stop the starlet from considering plastic surgery, simply hinting: "I'm open to being open".
Jennifer Lopez is currently promoting the third single, 'Papi', from her worldwide-platinum album 'Love?' Lopez will next be seen on screen in the pregnancy comedy, 'What to Expect When You Are Expecting', set for release in 2012.
