Talihina Sky follows brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill and their cousin, Matthew Followill, from their very beginnings, in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and Oklahoma City. For Caleb, Nathan and Jared, their childhood was spent travelling throughout the Deep South with their father, who was a Pentecostal Church preacher. The three brothers formed Kings Of Leon in 1999, with Matthew joining later. The group finally landed a record deal in 2002.

Since then, the band has had five critically-acclaimed albums, four Grammys, two Brit Awards and 13 million records sold worldwide. Talihina Sky uses footage from home movies and documentary clips, as well as interviews with extended family members and people that have been involved in the band's career that shows the four men, from their religious upbringing, to selling out arenas and stadiums worldwide.

Talihina Sky was first shown at the Tribeca film festival, where it received universal acclaim by critics and audiences and the premiere will be shown in over 150 UK cinemas.
