They have been spotted enjoying a day trip in Australia, and Amber even posted a photo of their romantic dinner together.

31-year-old Amber and 45-year-old Elon both appeared in Robert Rodriguez's 2013 film 'Machete Kills' but, according to The Hollywood Reporter, they never actually met despite Elon being desperate to do so. He even went as far as to ask the production team to arrange a meeting between the two.

Heard first filled for divorce in May last year, just 18 months after marrying the Pirates of the Caribbean actor. The couple did not have a prenuptial agreement.

Some people have recently been calling out Amber Heard for allegedly failing to donate her divorce payouts from Johnny Depp to charity as she promised several months ago. However, there’s a very good reason for that – the divorce papers have not yet been signed.

The ex-couple had been married for 15 months before their relationship imploded acrimoniously in May amid allegations of domestic violence. When their settlement was agreed in August, the 30 year old actress pledged to donate the reputed $7 million she’s receiving from it to charity.

In the 10 million (USD) lawsuit filed by producers Christopher Hanley and Jordan Gertner at the Los Angeles Superior Court, Heard is accused of "improper conduct" and participating "in a concerted campaign of disinformation" against the movie and its producers.

Part of the 24-page complaint obtained by Deadline reads: "As a result of Heard's refusal to comply with her contractual obligations - including her improper refusal to act in provocative scenes contained in the pre-approved script - key scenes in the script had to be removed and/or rewritten to accommodate Heard's behaviour."

Amber Heard has demanded that her ex-husband Johnny Depp double the amount he is paying to charity following their $7 million divorce settlement earlier this month, after she accused him of trying to cut his total bill by donating the sums directly to the charities she named.

52 year old Pirates of the Caribbean star Depp settled out of court and agreed to pay Heard $7 million as part of their divorce, which she then pledged to donate directly to two charities – the ACLU and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, two organisations that have done work to prevent domestic violence.

Depp confirmed on Thursday (August 25th) that he had paid the first of the instalments directly to the charities, but “in the name of Amber Heard”, saying that his ex-wife’s “generosity in giving to these wonderful causes is deeply respected.”

Johnny Depp has made the first financial payment in his divorce settlement with Amber Heard, sending the first instalment of the sum they agreed upon directly to the two charities she personally picked and cutting out the middle-man.

TMZ reported on Wednesday night (August 24th) that the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles both received substantial cheques from the 53 year old Hollywood A-lister, both made out in the name of Amber Heard.

They are the first of an undisclosed number of instalments that will eventually total $3.5 million for each charity.

Johnny Depp will no longer have to testify in the murder case of Nancy Lekon. Lekon, a limo driver, ran over a woman with her vehicle after claiming that she was in a relationship with the Pirates of the Caribbean actor.  It has now been officially established that the actor was not in a relationship with the accused at the time of the murder (or, for that matter, at any other time) and therefore will not have to appear in court.

Depp was served a subpoena at the Los Angeles premiere of his latest film Transcendence, which called him to testify at the trial. It was initially believed that his testimony would be used to support Lekon’s plea of insanity. Now that it is clear to both prosecution and defence that Depp has no connection to the defendent and has nothing to do with the trial, he will no longer have to testify.

Amber Heard’s Hollywood dream started when she dropped out of high school at 17 and made the move to L.A. to start her acting career. A risky decision that paid off pretty quick when she was cast alongside Billy Bob Thornton in ‘Friday Night Lights’ just a year later. The acclaimed film was Heard’s first movie role having taken bit parts in TV shows and music videos previously. Her next prominent movie role came when she played the young Charlize Theron in 2005’s ‘North Country’, for which Theron recieved an Oscar nomination. Heard then landed her first big TV role in the CW’s ‘Hidden Palms’ as Greta, a free spirited girl dealing with the loss of her mother and brother. For the role Amber was required to lose 25 pounds, which she did, but her dedication to the role didn't pay off. The show only ended up lasting for 8 episodes before being dropped by the network.

Following Christopher Nolan's 'Dark Knight' trilogy and the recent Superman epic 'Man Of Steel', there seems to be one obvious direction to go in next for DC Comics with their film franchises: a Wonder Woman movie, of course. The Amazonian knockout was first portrayed successfully by Lynda Carter in the TV series between 1975 and 1979, and it hasn't yet been put to cinema neither as a solo project for the character nor as a Justice League of America set-up. There have been all sorts of rumours flying about recently with Jaimie Alexander talking a lot about the supposed upcoming Wonder Woman movie and we've got pretty excited discussing who might be considered for the role.

So, who do we think would do the Wonder Woman costume 'justice'?

Jaimie Alexander: The 'Thor' actress has set tongues wagging as she gushed about the character in an interview with Forbes. 'I would love for DC to put Wonder Woman in one of their upcoming flicks, either in her own movie or Batman vs. Superman, or just something even to introduce her', she said. Batman vs. Superman, hmm? Does she know something we don't? On the suggestion that she could be the one to play her, she insisted, 'I'm appreciative to the people who ask my opinion of the character, and that's been pretty amazing.' Jaimie would be perfect for the role given her portrayal of Asgardian strong-woman Sif in the 'Thor' movies, and she even bears an interesting resemblance to Lucy Lawless as 90s TV hero Xena, Warrior Princess.

Machete Cortez is back, and this time he's got the President of the United States for a boss as he embarks on his most outrageous and dangerous adventure yet. In the sequel to 2010's Machete, Robert Rodriguez and Danny Trejo are both back as director and star respectively, in a film that has plenty to offer if you're up for a B-movie spectacle. It not, you should probably heed the words of warning from most critics, and avoid Machete Kills at all costs. Just go see Gravity or Captain Phillips this weekend instead.

Actress Amber Heard has openly voiced her feelings towards her sexuality in an interview with Elle. Reported by E! News, the 27 year-old, who now dates actor Johnny Depp, came out in 2010 and has since spoken about how although she doesn't see herself following a "standardised path," that's the way she likes life.

Speaking to the women's magazine, she spoke of how she has a tendency to shy away from the girl-next-door character types in favour of more active roles: "I try to play characters who are somehow empowered or strong," Heard said. "People want to put me in a wedding dress and make me the object of affection, but I'd much rather shoot the gun and save the world. I've always fought against what was expected of me as much as I could."

Paranoia lead cast: Gary Oldman, Liam Hemsworth & Harrison Ford

Based on the 2004 novel of the same name, Liam Hemsworth's new movie Paranoia actually might not be instantly forgettable. The Hunger Games actor plays technology whizz Adam Cassidy who attempts to balance caring for his ailing father while working a low-paid job at a technology conglomerate. His fortunes begin to turn when his boss Nicholas Wyatt (Gary Oldman) offers him the chance to get rich quick.

Cassidy quickly learns that the job involves infiltrating the firm's biggest rival business (led by his old mentor Jock Goddard) in a dangerous act of espionage. Despite completing the job, Adam's resignation is refused - he now knows too much.

The trailer has finally been released for Robert Rodriguez's latest action movie: a sequel to 2010's cult-favourite Machete.

The director, who is also responsible for box office hits Sin City and Once Upon a Time in Mexico, hypes his latest follow-up by comparing it to previous successful action series: "We've given the character a much bigger playground. It's going to be like a James Bond movie, with a Bond-style villain", he said, talking to screenrant.com.

Reloaded for a second instalment that we'll have to wait for until its September release, the trailer tantalises the action-hungry filmgoer, with guns, grit, and girl-on-girl violence. Not to mention the promise of flaming vehicular explosions, over-the-top weaponry, and blistering clichéd one-liners only a blockbuster can deliver.
