The Australian court case in which Amber Heard is accused of illegal dog importing has been adjourned until November.
Amber Heard missed a hearing in Australia on Monday (7th September). She was due to appear in court to face charges of two counts of illegal dog importing brought against her by the Australian government. She did not attend the hearing and the case has been adjourned until November when another court date has been scheduled.

This was a reference to the Australian minister who ordered his two dogs, Pistol and Boo, to be deported or risk being put down.
Johnny Depp responded to the fiasco surrounding his dogs and the Australian Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce with some rather dark humour. The actor was asked a question about the incident earlier this year, and replied that he had “killed” his pets and “ate them”.
Depp was speaking at a press conference for his new movie Black Mass, which is being shown at the Venice Film Festival, on Friday (September 4th). He sarcastically said: “I killed my dogs and ate them under direct orders from some kind of, I don't know, sweaty, big-gutted man from Australia” when he was asked if he was going to take his pets on a gondola ride in the city.

Einar Wegener is a Danish artist, apparently happily married to wife of the same occupation Gerda. One day, Gerda persuades her husband to assist her as a female model while she paints, dressing up in a dress and stockings. An unexpected wave of clarity washes over Einar, who readily agrees to continue posing for Gerda. Dubbing the female persona Lili, Gerda takes her out for fun - but when it seems Lili is falling for her childhood friend Hans Axgil, she is heartbroken. She eventually understands that her husband is actually a woman in the wrong body, and stands by her woman as she undertakes groundbreaking gender reassignment surgery; a series of operations that could threaten her very life, let alone her marriage.

The actress, wife of Johnny Depp, are said to have illegally brought their pet Yorkshire terriers Pistol and Boo into the country in May, where the agriculture minister threatened to have them put down.
Amber Heard has been charged by Australian authorities with illegally bringing Johnny Depp’s two pet dogs into the country, following a drama last month in which the nation’s agriculture minister made headlines by ordering the animals to be deported or face being put down.
The Commonwealth Department of Public Prosecutions said on Thursday (July 16th) that Depp’s wife had been formally charged this week with two counts of illegally importing the Yorkshire terriers (Pistol and Boo) into Australia and one count of producing a false document, and was issued with a summons to appear in a court in Queensland on September 7th.

Resisting the temptation to capitalise on the camp value of these characters, Channing Tatum and his producing-writing partner Reid Carolin create a startlingly loose and thoughtful follow-up to their 2012 hit. Yes, it's still the story of a group of ridiculously muscled men who take their clothes off for a living and enjoy a laugh. And even without much of a plot it's a remarkably astute exploration of masculinity and gender politics. In the last three years, Mike (Tatum) has made a decent go of his furniture-making business, but his life feels stuck in a rut.
Then his old pals ask him to go on the road for one last hurrah to a stripper convention. So he heads off with new-age healer Ken (Matt Bomer), lovelorn beefcake Richie (Joe Manganiello), artful biker Tarzan (Kevin Nash), macrobiotic smoothie expert Tito (Adam Rodriguez) and food-truck driving deejay Tobias (Gabriel Iglesias). Along the way, they meet up with Mike's old mentor Rome (Jada Pinkett Smith), who provides two new guys for the team (Donald Glover and Stephen 'tWitch' Boss). And they get some favours from a newly single Southern belle (Andie MacDowell) and another old friend (Elizabeth Banks).
There's very little to the story, but the film's improvisational style allows all of the characters to deepen in quiet but significant ways. So the journey these people take is even more internal than the highways they traverse from Tampa, Florida, to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The main point is that these men need to figure out who they are if they have any hope of finding happiness, and each one takes his own subtle voyage of discovery. The actors dive into this approach, which requires unusually subtle performances that combine sexy physicality with earthy, boisterous humour. What the film never does is fall back on the usual cliches about machismo or sexuality.

The male stripper sequel hit US theatres today (July 1st) and stars Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, and Joe Manganiello.
Channing Tatum and his troupe of oiled up, dancing beefcakes have hit the road this summer for Magic Mike XXL, the sequel to the highly successful 2012 film which followed a group of male strippers in Florida. But while the first film showed a surprising amount of heart, the XXL version seems to be more intent on just showing skin, leaving some reviewers feeling more than a little cheated.
The boys of Magic Mike XXL
Star Channing Tatum, who based the original film on his own experiences as an 18 year old stripper in Florida, has come along way in the short period of time since Magic Mike. Last year he impressed critics in Oscar nominated drama Foxcatcher, so it’s no surprise that some were expecting a lot from Tatum in his second Magic Mike outing.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star is hoping to sell his 37-acre estate near Saint -Tropez.
Actor Johnny Depp has put his massive 37 acre French estate and private ‘village’ on the market, with a hefty asking price of $25.76 million. The compound is just a short walk away from the village of Plan de la Tour in southern France and is also not far from holiday destination Saint -Tropez.
Johnny Depp has put his French retreat on the market.
According to Sotheby's International Realty, who has listed the property, the estate boasts a private "hameau" or small Provencal village which features a main house, guest cottages, a chapel, a bar and restaurant, and other structures. The main property also includes 12 bedrooms and 12 full baths as well as more than 10,000 square feet of living space.

Magic Mike might be keeping his clothes on these days in favour of beginning a business in custom furniture, and after a rather bitter and scandalous departure from the Xquisite nightclub, but three years on and he's still got the moves. And the body. These days, his stripper friends have decided to give up their dancing careers in Tampa, Florida too, but these aren't the kind of guys who are going to disappear quietly. They thus decide to get together one last time for a spectacular performance at Myrtle Beach in South Carolina where a major stripping convention is due to take place. Mike agrees to join them as their headliner, re-living his glory days as the ultimate chiselled fantasy. Along the way he meets some old friends and welcomes new faces in such cities as Jacksonville and Savannah, and they dance away their previous lives in style.

Bringing Boo and Pistol to Australia could end up being a costly mistake for Depp.
Johnny Depp could be facing a lengthly prison sentence in Australia, after illegally bringing his two dogs into the country last month. The actor broke Australia’s strict quarantine laws when he flew in the Yorkshire terriers on his private jet in April and failed to declare them to officials.
Depp has been filming the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie in Australia.
On Monday an Australian Senate committee was told that if the matter goes to court and Depp is found guilty, he could face up to 10 years in prison or a maximum fine of $265,000. But it’s not just Depp who’s in hot water, the jet’s pilot is also facing up to two years behind bars, for his involvement in the situation.
The actor has been warned to fly his pets Pistol and Boo out of Australia by Saturday - or they will be destroyed.
It's a row that has caused a stir on Twitter and triggered an online petition to save Johnny Depp's dogs Pistol and Boo. The actor and his wife Amber Heard are accused of not declaring their two Yorkshire terriers to customs officials when they flew into Queensland last month - and Australian quarantine authorities have now ordered Depp to fly the pooches out of the country by Saturday or they will be put down.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have been spotted together in public for the first time since their marriage in February, putting rumours of an imminent to split to rest. The actors were photographed holding hands together in Brisbane, Australia, where Depp is filming the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
On Monday, People magazine reported that their marriage was in trouble, in a story that has now been taken down from its website. An unnamed source close to the couple told E! News on Tuesday that, to the contrary, are still “very much in love with each other”.

Depp and Heard will reportedly be saying “I do” this weekend in the Bahamas.
After a year long engagement it appears the time has finally come for Johnny Depp and Amber Heard to walk down the aisle, with various outlets reporting that the couple's big day will happen this weekend.
Will Johnny and Amber be Mr & Mrs by Monday?
The news was originally broken late last week by Page Six, who reported that the wedding will take place on Depp’s private island in the Bahamas, Little Hall’s Pond Cay. Just 50 guests are said to be invited to the ceremony, including Depp’s two children Lily-Rose, 15, and Jack, 12.
Is it time to be getting our outfit in order for Johnny and Amber’s big day?
The big day is reportedly about to come for Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, as the couple are said to be tying the knot next weekend. People magazine reports that the couple are preparing to marry on Depp's private island in the Bahamas after getting engaged just over a year ago.
Are these two set to marry sooner than expected?
Depp has owned the private island named Little Hall's Pond Cay since 2004. It boasts 45 acres and six beaches, which are named after Depp’s children, his ex Vanessa Paradis, and his close friends Hunter S. Thompson and Marlon Brando. The actor is said to have paid $3.6 million for the private getaway.

Matthew McConaughey will not be starring in the 'Magic Mike' sequel, 'Mike Mike XXL'. Fortunately, the rest of the cast are returning and some other well known faces will also be appearing in the 2015 film, including Amber Heard.
Matthew McConaughey will not be reprising his role as strip club owner Dallas in the upcoming sequel to Magic Mike, Magic Mike XXL. The 2015 film may have lost one of its biggest stars but it's certainly making up for it by casting actresses such as Amber Heard, Andie MacDowell and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Luc Besson's movies are preposterous fun.
French writer-director-producer Luc Besson has created an entire industry by bringing American stars to Europe and turning them into action heroes in movies that oddly mix grisly violence with family values. His latest venture is 3 Days to Kill, starring Kevin Costner as a dying former CIA black-ops operative who's trying to bond with his teen daughter (Hailee Steinfeld) and ex-wife (Connie Nielsen) while also doing one last job in Paris.
Amber Heard in '3 Days to Kill'
Besson's first foray into this odd genre hybrid was with Leon (aka The Professional) in 1994, starring a very young Natalie Portman as an orphan rescued and trained in the art of assassination by hitman Jean Reno. From here he turned to Jason Statham for the three Transporter romps, Liam Neeson for the Taken movies, John Travolta in From Paris With Love, Paul Walker in Brick Mansions (a remake of his French thriller District 13) and even Robert DeNiro in The Family. These films are so preposterous that they just about work as guilty pleasures, as long as audiences can overlook the vaguely obscene mixture of violence, innuendo and children.

French filmmaker Luc Besson continues to combine family themes with intense violence (see Taken), but at least this film has a wry sense of humour about it. Director McG refuses to take the story seriously (see Charlie's Angels), balancing the escalating body count with a silly father-daughter drama to make this an enjoyably absurd guilty pleasure.
Kevin Costner stars as Ethan, a veteran CIA hitman who finds out that he's only got three months to live. So he retires and returns home to Paris to reconnect with his ex-wife Christine (Connie Nielsen) and their now-teen daughter Zooey (Hailee Steinfeld). But just as he discovers a family of immigrants squatting in his flat, the vampy CIA operative Vivi (Amber Heard) appears and coaxes him back into service for one last job, paying him with both cash and an experimental cancer treatment. So as he tracks down international arms dealers, he's also trying to bond with Zooey over three days of babysitting while Christine is away on business. But of course this is also just when the violence breaks out.
McG does a great job of cutting back and forth between these two story strands: the tetchy-sweet fatherly stuff and the action-man shootouts, car chases and fist-fights. Ethan even has to interrupt a spot of torture when Zooey gets in trouble at school. This wildly bizarre mixture of goofy sentimentality and vicious brutality takes in all of Paris' picturesque landmarks. And since this is a Luc Besson script, it's only a matter of time before the two elements merge for a big climax. Yes, everything is ludicrously predictable, but there's just enough spark to keep us entertained.

With a string of flop movies, fans are beginning to question whether Johnny Depp has lost the certain something that made him so...Johnny Depp.
Johnny, Johnny, Johnny. What’s been going on? Don’t get us wrong, we’re big fans and always will be, but something’s gone a little awry of late. Well, for quite a while actually. Depp’s latest film Transcendence is inarguably a total box office flop. Taking just $11.5 million in its opening week was hugely disappointing, but from the sound of things it never even stood a chance. The critics have been pretty scathing, particularly of Depp. Antonia Quirke of the Financial Times remarked, “The only part of [Depp] still genuinely dynamic is his hair. I’m worried.” Yikes.
Depp fans feel that he has 'lost it' - whatever 'it' was
If it was just one flop it would have been easier to ignore, but sadly Depp has suffered from several over the past few years. His 2013 Disney film The Lone Ranger absolutely bombed at the box office, while Dark Shadows, The Rum Diary, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and The Tourist have all failed to win over critics and audiences. In fact, since 2010 Depp’s only real success was computer animated comedy Rango. Although, Rango is pretty fantastic, so that’s got to count for something.
