With new vocalist Matt Skiba, Blink 182 have finally topped the UK album chart.
Blink-182 have have topped the UK album chart this week, for their first time in their over 20 year career. California, the pop-punk- trio's seventh studio album, is now their biggest charting record in the UK to date, beating Take Off Your Pants And Jacket, which reached number four in 2001.
Blink-182 have topped the UK album chart for the first time.
Speaking to the Official Charts Company, the band said: “We’re so excited and thankful to be Number 1 in the UK. This is the first time we have ever got a Number 1, and we are super thankful to all of you for supporting us.”

It looks like Tom DeLonge has officially left Blink 182 and his departure doesn't appear to have been amicable.
It’s been a tough few days for Blink 182 fans, as Tom DeLonge’s status within the band has been at times confusing. But it appears the guitarist has indeed left the group and will be replaced by Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba at this year's Musicink festival in March.

While compiling this list, I became aware that 2013 has been an incredible year for music.
This top ten leans more on the rock end of the spectrum but there are also a few curve balls in there. Honourable mentions go to some big bands who put out great albums (Pearl Jam, Suede) which were omitted to make room for some smaller bands who I feel are deserving of the exposure. Voodoo Festival will hit New Orleans' City Park at the beginning of November - get your timetable ready!
The fourteenth annual Voodoo Music + Arts Experience is swiftly approaching and we can now reveal the day-by-day schedule of the event's exciting line-up.
The first day of the festival (Friday, November 1st) sees the main Ritual stage host the likes of BET award-winning duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis at 7:15pm, just ahead of Pearl Jam's exciting headline spot, while Macclesfield trio The Virginmarys will be bringing in the earlier crowds around 3:45. The Le Plur stage will feature electronic producers Boys Noize and Calvin Harris at 6:15 and 7:30 respectively, while the soulful tones of Allen Stone and ZZ Ward will be resonating over on Flambeau. The Carnival stage will also have some interesting sounds emanating from it over the first day, with Nashville rock 'n' rollers Those Darlins appearing early on in the afternoon ahead of California 6-piece Youngblood Hawke and chiptune band Anamanaguchi closing the stage at 8:15.
