Alicia Keys has teamed up with the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna and Pharrell Williams for a new PSA video shedding light on racial injustice in America, as part of the singer’s ‘We Are Here’ movement.

In a clip that debuted on Mic.com on Wednesday (July 13th), Keys and various celebs that also included Hollywood stars Taraji P. Henson, Chris Rock and Kevin Hart and music stars Common, Pink and Adam Levine, explain “23 ways you could be killed if you are black in America”.

Photos of black men and women killed on the streets by police and armed civilians come up on the screen.

Keys begins the roll call of mundane ways in which black civilians have been killed in the recent past. “Failing to signal a lane change,” she said, highlighting the case of Sandra Bland, a 28-year-old black woman who died in police custody in July 2015 after being pulled over by a Texas state trooper.

The two extremely recent cases of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile are also mentioned. “Riding in your girlfriend’s car with a child in the back,” Beyonce says, referring to Castile’s death after being shot by a cop during a traffic stop in Minnesota just last week.

The day before Castile's death, Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was killed by police for “selling CDs outside of a supermarket,” as ‘Empire’ star Henson says to the camera.

At the end of the emotionally charged video, Keys directs viewers to the website weareheremovement.com. “To tell President Obama and Congress that the time for change is now,” she explains. “We demand radical transformation to heal a history of systemic racism so that all Americans have the equal right to live and to pursue happiness.”
