Allen’s effort differs from those rather depressing efforts, but is equally disheartening due its reliance on the ancient relic of patriotism in the absence of any real musical qualities. It’s all garage poppy.

Alfie Allen has all but denied that his sister Lily Allen was offered a role in Game of Thrones, but that she turned it down because of some incestuous material written into the plot. The offending scene occurred back in season 2 of the HBO drama.

Was Lily Allen's Game of Thrones story just that, a story?

Allen claimed that she was “asked to do a Game of Thrones cameo” on a Reddit AMA. “They asked me if I'd be interested in playing Theon's sister [Yara], and I felt uncomfortable because I would have had to go on a horse and he would have touched me up and s---. Once they told me what was entailed, I said no thanks. I would be open to doing a musical cameo like Sigur Ros, though,” she said.

Many were baffled when it turned out Lily Allen didn’t want to act in Game of Thrones. Everybody wants to act in Game of Thrones, it’s Game of Thrones, people probably said. But when you listen to Allen’s reasoning behind turning down the role, you’ll probably develop some sympathy for the decision.

The trailer has been released for the upcoming British drama, Plastic, which sees a group of criminals head stateside to carry out millions worth of credit card theft. Alfie Allen, Game of Thrones star and brother to Lily Allen, stars opposite Downton Abbey's Ed Speleers, Hollyoaks' Emma Rigby, Skins' Sebastian De Souza, and We're the Millers actor Will Poulter in a high-tension heist movie headed for cinemas in May.

New British Heist Movie, 'Plastic,' Sees A Group Of Students Sucked Into The Criminal Underworld.

Allen, Speleers, De Souza and Poulter play a group of university students who are looking to make a lot of money in the fastest way possible and aren't worried about issues of morality or law breaking. They meet smart and glamorous Frankie (Rigby) who works a data processor for a credit card company and helps devise a way of making the gang's money-making schemes a lot simpler.
