Alex Metric kicks 2010 off in fine form by releasing the hugely catchy single It Starts on January 25th through Marine Parade. 2009 saw Alex gradually build his profile, re-mixing some of the best groups around including Bloc Party and Phoenix. Bloc Party's own Russell Lissack, actually performs the guitar parts on single 'It Starts'.
2010 will also see the release of Alex's debut album, though a release date has not been confirmed.
