Alec Baldwin has never been one keep his opinion quiet and this week he takes aim at the Transport Security Administration.

The 55 year-old was enjoying a winter escape with his wife Hilaria Baldwin and baby daughter, 5 Month-old Carmen.

But the trip was somewhat ruined when the family of three were returning to the US.

Baldwin wasn't a happy passenger with the Nassau airport staff after his young daughter was stopped by security for a pat-down.

In typical Alec style, the actor turned to twitter to voice his frustration.

"Flying from Nassau, Bahamas 2 NY. TSA "random selects" my 5 month old daughter 4 a pat down. I am not kidding. #travelinginUSisadisgrace," he tweeted on Monday (Jan 27th).

However, the '30 Rock' actor didn't get the reaction he had hoped as his twitter rant involved a few mistakes.

One twitter user responded to Alec's post by tweeting, "@ABFalecbaldwin The TSA doesn't exist in Nassau, Bahamas, since it isn't in the USA. guess you just needed attention #AlecBaldwinIsAMoron."

Yes that is right Mr Baldwin, the Bahamas are not part of the USA!

Acknowledging his error, Alec quickly wrote back, "So, I guess there is a TSA-like function as you go through US customs in Nassau. But you sophisticate, you! You got me. #dyk."

However, the security blunder didn't seem to have a lasting effect on the family's trip home, Hilaria posted a funny photo on Instagram of her partaking in a little mid-flight yoga in the aisle of the plane.

The caption read, "I'm sorry," she wrote, "You've never seen airplane pose at 35,000 feet? #yogapostureoftheday #hilariaypd thank you to all my fellow passenger yoga buddies!"
