The Time To Mind campaign, set up by British publication The Times, asks the U.K. government to provide extra money to fund intervention programs that could prevent youngsters from developing serious mental health conditions.

Other celebrities backing the drive include comedians Matt Lucas and Alan Davies.

Davies tells The Times, "Mental health issues untreated in childhood and particularly adolescence can lead to self-harm and even suicide. It is essential that young people are supported and not left with feelings of isolation and desperation."
