The singer presided over the comedian's marriage to his partner of 10 years.
The headline 'Adele marries Alan Carr' might sound confusing but, don't worry, it's not what you think. She's been ordained as a minister so that she can officiate the marriage of her best pal to his long-term partner - and she did it with true style.

Canadian superfan Lori Shortall has flown more than 18,000 miles to see three Adele gigs that have ALL been cancelled at the last minute.
Tens of thousands of fans were left heartbroken last weekend when Adele cancelled her last two Wembley gigs, but spare a thought for Canadian superfan Lori Shortall.
The teacher from Newfoundland has, to date, spent a total of £6,000 on tickets to three gigs to see Adele, and flown more than 18,000 miles in the process – but has yet to actually see her play live, as the singer has cancelled on each occasion.
Originally, Lori was meant to attend Adele’s gig in Houston, Texas in 2011 but lost £600 in earnings from her job as well as paying for flights and tickets. Five years later, she attempted to go to another Adele gig in Phoenix, Arizona, booking a 10-day family holiday to coincide with the gig.

Bowie's music was bought and streamed by more people than any other artist, including Adele and Drake, according to the BPI.
Following the shocking news of the music icon’s death, which broke in early January 2016, the official body governing the music industry in Britain reports that 1.6 million Bowie albums were either bought or streamed by British listeners in the 12 months of last year, more than any other single artist.
The rediscovery of Bowie’s massive back catalogue, combined with his final album Blackstar that was released just two days before his passing, meant that his sales figures were higher than anybody else.
The star was in a no nonsense mood during a concert in Melbourne
Adele has proved herself a unique performer on many occasions - from regularly interacting with her audience on current events, to helping with engagements or just being her very amusing self. But the latest intervention at her own gig got her mad when the singer had to call out a security guard after he tried to stop fans dancing at her concert.

Over the Christmas period, she and Konecki, who share four year old son Angelo, were spotted out and about in Los Angeles wearing what fans took to be gold wedding bands on their fingers. At the ceremony Adele won five awards, making her now a 15-time Grammy winner and she also performed an emotional tribute to the late George Michael.
However her success wasn’t enough to stop some online making cruel jokes and claiming her choice of a green Givenchy Couture gown made her look like Shrek’s Princess Fiona, who is voiced by Cameron Diaz in the animated movies.

Adele never used to be one to stand out in terms of her style, but lately she's doing a really good job.
It's quite remarkable how much Adele's fashion choices have change over the years. She's gone from uber casual to uber chic over a period of eight years. Thick knits, leggings and loose fits were her go-to wardrobe staples, but now she's into a more mature, glamorous approach to dressing.

It's true that her body shape has changed a lot since she released her debut album '19' in 2008, and with that it seems she has grown to really appreciate and know her figure, adorning it appropriately and turning more and more heads with each red carpet appearance.

Nearing the end of a massively successful and lucrative tour supporting a similarly massive and lucrative album, Adele has the whole world in the palm of her hand at the moment.
However, one person didn’t quite think she was all she was cracked up to be – at least on first impression. Bruno Mars recalled that, when he worked with her while co-writing the song ‘All I Ask’ for her album 25, she was a “diva” – and not in a good way!

The winners were announced in London yesterday.
The 61st Ivor Novello Awards took place yesterday (May 19th 2016) in London and honoured several classic and contemporary artists from Adele to Simple Minds. It's a ceremony to celebrate songwriting and composing, as opposed to performance, and is sponsored by the copyright company PRS for Music Limited. Once again, it is presented by the British Academy Of Songwriters Composers & Authors (BASCA).
Simple Minds won Outstanding Song Collection
Unsurprisingly, Adele landed Songwriter of the Year after the success of '25' and her hit single 'Hello'. James Bay was another predictable success, the PRS Most Performed Work awarded for his UK number two single 'Hold Back The River'. Ed Sheeran's protege Jamie Lawson won Best Song Musically and Lyrically for 'Wasn't Expecting That', beating Sheeran himself whose track 'Bloodstream' with Rudimental was also up for nomination.
