Adam Sandler Has Urged Native Americans To Check Out His New Movie The Ridiculous 6 Before Criticising The Film's Politically Incorrect Moments.
Over 10 extras with ties to American Indian tribes quit the film in April (15) over the alleged offensive script and plotlines, but Sandler is convinced that anyone who watches the finished movie, a spoof of classic western The Magnificent Seven, will understand he wasn't trying to offend anyone.
The Blended star says, "It was just a misunderstanding and once the movie is out it will be cleared up."
One of the extras who walked off the set in New Mexico objected to the vile names given to some of the Native American characters and one scene in which a woman urinated while smoking a peace pipe.
