Gomez was a long-time friend of 'The Voice' contestant, as it was the former's stepfather who took Christina under his wing when she was 14-years-old as her manager. 'My heart is absolutely broken. I miss you Christina', she said on Twitter.

Dan Mulligan is a former record executive who has just been spectacularly dismissed by the label he was employed by. Now penniless with nowhere to go and no-one to talk to apart from his hormonal teenage daughter Violet, he is desperate to find some musicians and get his career back on track. Meanwhile, a young singer-songwriter named Gretta has just been dumped by her co-musician boyfriend Dave after he manages to secure a major label deal for himself. Depressed and alone, she finds herself performing solo on a stage at a small bar where Dan happens to be drinking. Captivated, he decides to take her under his wing and help her achieve the success she so craves with his own unusual methods, and both find themselves transforming as people in almost every way.
Formerly entitled 'Can A Song Save Your Life?', 'Begin Again' is a touching comedy drama with a thrilling all star cast. It has been written and directed by John Carney ('Once', 'On the Edge', 'Zonad', 'The Rafters'), and is the story of how music can change many people for the better - and, sometimes, for the worst. The film is due for UK release this summer on July 11th 2014.

Gwen Stefani is rumoured to be joining The Voice as a judge in the upcoming seventh season.
Stefani, according to reports in The Wrap, appears to be filling in for Christina Aguilera who is currently expecting her second child. Aguilera has served as a judge for the show since 2011 but is taking time off during her pregnancy. She is expected to return for the eighth season of the show so Stefani may be a temporary replacement.
The rivalry is fierce as 'The Voice' battles begin.
Hard-headed tactics, nail-biting decisions and some truly A-grade talent; so began The Voice season six battle rounds where audience favourites were sent home, judges fought over the best candidates and the remaining contestants sang their hearts out for a chance to progress to the next stage.
The Judges Had Some Tough Decisions To Make This Week.
The last two night's episodes (17th and 18th March) were particularly cutthroat: the battle round sees two contestants from the same team pitted against each other with the coach choosing only one. It's not the end of the road for the singer who doesn't get picked though as the rejected can be stolen by other coaches. The coaches can retain only six contestants from their original team and two more can be added from the steal.

The singing judge will not be returning for another season of 'The Voice.'
CeeLo Green has announced that after the end of this season, he won't be returning as a judge on the NBC singing show, The Voice. CeeLo first broke the news that he would be leaving after a four season tenure to Ellen Degeneres on Ellen which has been followed with a full statement and a confirmation from NBC.
CeeLo Green Will Not Be Returning To 'The Voice' For Season Seven.
"CeeLo Green has been an instrumental part of the success of The Voice and we deeply appreciate all his contributions," said NBC reality TV chief Paul Telegdy in a statement confirming Green's announcement. "We're looking forward to working with him on other upcoming projects that will tap into both his musical and entertainment expertise."
The winner of the singing contest was Tessanne Chin
The final standings for season five finale of The Voice featured two of Adam Levine's acts, with Will Champlin and Tessanne Chin representing the Maroon 5 singer, and Christina Aguilera's 16-year-old protege Jacquie Lee. After 13 weeks of hard fought contest, the three became two and then two became one, as Tessanne Chin was crowned the newest winner of NBC's singing contest.
Levine scored his second win in the contest, whilst Christina will have to wait a while longer
It was a second win for Levine as a judge and few could begrudge Chin for winning the contest after 13 solid weeks of top quality performances. On Tuesday (17 Dec.) night the Jamaica-born singer was picked ahead of Champlin, who placed third, and Lee, who came second, not just based on votes from the American public, but on her merit as an artist, as seen throughout the latest season. The final votes took into consideration the contestant's success on iTunes and other fields away from the show, and it was Chin who was the clear favourite to win from the get-go.

It was an intense semi-final, but three contestants emerged victorious.
Tuesday’s semi-finals of The Voice provided a tense show, as the last remaining contestants battled it out for one of the three spots in the semi-finals. At this point it was anyone’s game, but with three contestants left, Adam Levine was the one mentor with a clear advantage – especially considering the powerhouse performance delivered by Jamaican songstress Tessanne Chin. Chin belted out a rendition of Simon and Garfunkel's 'Bridge Over Troubled Water,' which earned her a standing ovation from the audience and from an awed Levine. And now we get to the major spoilers.
Levine and Aguilera are the last mentors left standing.
"That was crazy what just happened," Levine said, via People. "The sheer talent is just ? I think that is probably the most flawless and graceful performance I've ever heard on this show."

The British actor was voted as the 'Sexiest Man Alive' by Glamour magazine
Henry Cavill has topped the latest poll by Glamour magazine to determine the '100 Sexiest Men Alive.' The Man of Steel actor took the top spot from four-time winner of the accolade Robert Pattinson, who after four consecutive years of being declared the world's biggest hunk, fell down to number two this year.
Henry Cavill is apparently the sexiest man alive
The Twilight-star has long been a favourite for the magazine when compiling their yearly list of sexiest men, but this year the spandex-wearing DC superhero Cavill proved too dashing to ignore, as he leaped to the top spot. Cavill was chosen as the sexiest man alive by the magazine on the back of his successful turn as Superman in the blockbuster Man of Steel, with his chiselled abs and facial features probably going some way towards securing his spot at the top of the poll too.

The Maroon 5 joked with Jimmy Kimmel about how deserving he is of the honour
Adam Levine was crowned the 'Sexiest Man Alive' by People Magazine this week, an honour that Levine himself thinks was duly deserved. Ok, he's probably not that big headed, but when he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday (20 Nov.) night, he was more than happy to play along with the joke and big himself up, and his sexiness.
He's sexy and he knows it
"A lot of people trivialize this sort of thing. They say it's shallow and think it's just a media stunt used to sell magazines and perpetuate the image of Hollywood being based on looks. And that's totally true," the Maroon 5 frontman joked to his host. He continued, "But I'm completely cool with that."
Adam Levine think's "its bizarre" that he got voted the 'Sexiest Man Alive', whereas most people seem to wholeheartedly disagree with it!
The 34 year-old now joins the company of George Clooney, Channing Tatum, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp, as they have all previously won this title, but has it sunk in yet?
Levine told E!News, "It's bizarre, It's funny. It's awesome, flattering."
The Maroon 5 frontman beat off competition from Clooney, Pitt, Gosling and DeVito.
It's official! Well, according to People Magazine it's official at least: Adam Levine is the sexiest man alive! The Maroon 5 frontman and The Voice judge emerged victorious in the yearly poll to be crowned the world's sexiest man, and he seemed pretty happy with the award too.
The singer scrubs up well.
"As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn't really think that this was on the table," the singer told People for his cover story interview. "I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren't, so that's cool."

It was a tightly fought contest on Monday, but someone will be going home on Tuesday night
Last night (18 Nov.) on NBC, we came no closer to discovering who might be the first contestant to be booted out of the Top Ten on The Voice, after all of the remaining performers gave it their all and performed to their best. With Team Blake and Team Adam still sitting pretty with all three contestants, and with Team Christina and Team CeeLo having lost one each, the race was still wide open, as the closely-fought contest showed how much fight was left in the contestants. The rest of this story contains spoilers from last nights episode.
Up first was Austin Jenckes, singing 'Your Love' by The Outfield. Still in need of finding his "breakout song," Jenckes seemed to do just that on last nights episode, as all of the judges were left thoroughly impressed by the singer as he finally came into his own. Both Blake and Christina were left impressed by the build of the song and although Adam was critical of Austin's lack of range on the song, the overall response was purely positive.

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo are reportedly planning two weddings.
The Maroon 5 singer and judge on The Voice got engaged to the model in July and the couple have apparently been mulling over where to hold the nuptials.
Of course, Levine probably wants the bash in Los Angeles - where they live - though Behati is keen to return to her native Namibia because it would mean a lot to her parents in Africa. Being the intelligent guy he is, the pop singer used every single one of his brain cells to suggest having...you guessed it pop fans...two ceremonies!
The Voice is back on NBC for season five. Is this the year it produces a superstar?
Get ready to settle down in your favorite chair with a little pile of peanuts because The Voice is on its way back for a fifth series. Judges Christina Aguilera, Cee-Lo Green, Adam Levine and Carson Daly took to the stage on Saturday evening (July 27, 2013) for the Summer TCA press tour, reports E! Online.
Aguilera took a season off last time out to focus on her latest album, though she was in good form at the panel event over the weekend. "Well I understand that I am coming back to the Blake Shelton show at this point," she joked, referencing the country star's three victories out of the past four cycles.
Though The Voice has been praised for its refreshing take on the stale reality singing show format, it's no secret that the show is yet to produce a real 'superstar.' With Simon Cowell bolstering his X-Factor line-up, are the judges feeling the heat?

Christina Aguilera, speaking to the press on Saturday (27th July), explained her reasons for taking a break from 'The Voice'. She said it was due to the pressures of constant media attention and the need to spend time with her family.
Christina Aguilera explained why she decided to take a season off from the televised singing competition The Voice. The singer stated it was due to her family commitments and the pressures of constantly living in the public eye. She spoke to the press at the NBC segment of the Television Critics Association Summer Tour, held in Beverly Hills.

The New York native has been appearing on television since she was ten years old. Understandably, constant media attention for the majority of her life has left her wary of the strains it can place on family life. She has one son, Max, about who she said "he starts kindergarten this fall, I'm excited about that". She also discussed her dual role as pop star in public and mother at home: "the cameras go off, I go home, I put on sweats and a T-shirt. The red lips come off. I check out and I'm mom and I needed some time, I needed some time to do that".
Adam Levine, the lead singer of Maroon 5, is engaged to Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo. He seems to be following in the footsteps of Mick Jagger, The Rolling Stones frontman who is renowned for his relationships with models.
Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine is engaged to Behati Prinsloo. His representative confirmed their engagement in a statement issued on Tuesday 16th July. The statement, made to People magazine, reads: "Adam Levine and his girlfriend Behati Prinsloo are excited to announce they are engaged to be married"

The couple started dating in May 2012 but separated earlier this year. It's come as something of a surprise when Levine proposed to Prinsloo over the weekend. It's certainly a romantic story with such a spontaneous demonstration of love. However, the singer's involvement with Behati is somewhat cliché.
'This Love' singer Adam Levine has got engaged to Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo after the Maroon 5 frontman proposed in Los Angeles.
Adam Levine, Maroon 5's lead singer with a talent for romantic lyrics, has got engaged to Behati Prinsloo; a Victoria's Secret underwear model who was born in Namibia. Levine began dating the 24 year-old model in June 2012, after his split from Russian model Anne Vyalitsyna. Over the last year, the couple have had an on-off relationship with Levine just last month being spotted on holiday with Nina Agdal, a Danish Sports Illustrated model. According to Levine's rep informing People magazine, the couple are excited be getting married and adding "The couple recently reunited and Adam proposed this weekend in Los Angeles."

Oh what a buzz one ill-timed comment can create!
Before appearing on The Voice Adam Levine seemed like a fairly likable guy. After his little “I hate this country” slipup on Tuesday’s episode, however, he has been bombarded with hate mail in the form of Twitter messages and other social networking jazz. But was it really that bad? Well, Levine really did make the comment, though it was an affected and probably not really true exclamation made off-camera. The mentor had just learned that two of his contestants were leaving and he clearly takes the whole coaching thing very seriously. So naturally, he said some things he maybe didn’t mean. But that one thing in particular attracted so much hate that he had to respond within hours. And respond Levine did – by posting the definitions of "joke," "humorless," "lighthearted" and "misunderstand." And by midday Wednesday he'd offered an explanation:
"I obviously love my country very much and my comments last night were made purely out of frustration," he said in a widely picked-up statement. "Being a part of 'The Voice,' I am passionately invested in my team and want to see my artists succeed. Last night's elimination of Judith and Sarah was confusing and downright emotional for me and my comments were made based on my personal dissatisfaction with the results. I am very connected to my artists and know they have long careers ahead, regardless of their outcome on the show."
Now that clearly isn’t an apology and it doesn’t really need to be. We hear that one of the perks of living in that beloved country is freedom of speech, which applies most to controversial cases like this. Still, it seems like the hype around the whole story is on its way to dying down. The strange thing is that it even got this much attention in the first place.
Adam Levine was heard to say "I hate this country," in the closing moments of The Voice on Tuesday.
Adam Levine's "I hate this country" remark on The Voice last night has elicited a whole wave of responses on Twitter. The Maroon 5 man was stunned that two of his three remaining singers - Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons - were voted off the show despite being considered frontrunners. This was a terrible decision, and Levine knew it.
A close-by microphone caught Levine muttering his hatred for the American public, which some fans of the show claim will decrease his chances of winning with his one remaining act. Ryan Cooney wrote on Twitter, "Adam Levine just said "I hate this country" on TV... Not a smart move dude, not smart at all. #america."
It's hardly surprising that Levine had a dig at the American public - Judith Hill was easily the most talented singer in the final 8 - though the singer will struggle to salvage his reputation on the show with touchy television viewers. Writing in the Los Angeles Times, Amy Reiter offered a potential explanation for Judith's elimination, "...it could also have been that Hill was almost too polished, too much of a pro. She'd sung a duet with Michael Jackson. Her parents were well-connected musicians. She already had the bearing of a superstar - seemed already to have arrived. What did she need us for?"

The band have moved all European tour dates back to January 2014.
Maroon 5 have been forced to pull out of their scheduled summer tour dates in the United Kingdom and Ireland, with the band citing "unforseen scheduling conflicts" as the reason behind the sudden change. The band posted the news on their official website, assuring fans that refunds would be made available and that any tickets already bought will be valid for the rescheduled dates.
The 'Moves Like Jagger' hit-makers were due to perform six dates over the course of June, including two shows at London's O2 Arena and one in Ireland at the Dublin O2 Arena. All six dates have now been moved to January 2014, with the band telling fans that should they prefer a refund they need to return their tickets no later than June 30. Usher was forced to strip down to his vest thanks to some hot performances last night... and a broke A/C unit
Take note ladies, all it takes to get Usher to start stripping down is a cover of the Backstreet Boys and a broken air conditioning unit. At least that how it looks as the singer was forced to strip down during last nights (May 13) edition of The Voice, in what was probably the highlight of a still impressive show.
The singer was so taken by Garrett Gardner's rendition of 'I Want It That Way' by the Backstreet Boys that he had to take off a few layers until he was just in a vest and his trousers. Well, that and because the A/C unit was broken in the studio, but the acts on last night's show were hot that we wouldn't be surprised if it was a joint effort between the remaining acts and the A/C.
Although it was Shakira's Gardner that had Usher taking his top off, it was actually the 'Climax' singer's team that looked to have finished the night more impressively. Whilst Josiah Hawley crooned a Script cover and Michelle Chamuel won praise for her rendition of 'Call Your Girlfriend,' it was Vedo's song and dance routine to Michael Jackson‘s 'Rock With You' that really impressed.
Usher was blown away by last nights performances

They do satire and they seemingly do it perfectly. Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, aka The Lonely Island presented their latest twist on modern culture, reversing the meaning of YOLO to heed caution against, well, everything.
Although Andy Samberg has left Saturday Night Live, his return, alongside his cronies to premiere their latest project was welcome. Since then, and at the time of writing, the video has accumulated 8,677,972 hits on YouTube and shooting to the top of the iTunes Top 10 Comedy Songs chart.
SNL has always strived to make things more lively and interesting with various guest hosts and after Jennifer Lawrence took the wheel last week for quite a funny (in a good way) go at hosting, it is now Adam Levine’s turn.
The Maroon 5 frontman has already been on SNL as a musical guest along with his band, but this will be both his first solo performance as well as his first comedy gig, but it actually won’t be the first time he’s taken to acting. Levine recently ended his term on American Horror Story, where he played Leo and although the part wasn’t all too challenging and didn’t really involve a lot of speaking, the singer managed to impress director and cast with his “natural charisma”. Of course, charisma is one thing and improve skills are in a whole different league altogether, but Levine will certainly need both to pass the live show test with flying colors.
Regardless, we, like many a Maroon 5 fangirl have a soft spot for the doe-eyed falsetto vocalist, so fingers are firmly crossed that he gets the tone right and it ends up being actually funny. Surely, the hosting gig will include a couple of musical numbers, but during the show, Levine will also step down a couple of times, giving up the stage to an entirely different musical guest – rap's current golden boy Kendrick Lamar. Now, if that isn’t an odd mix, we don’t know what is!
The Rolling Stones lead vocalist appeared for an interview on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' and, to the viewers' amusement, produced a list entitled: 'Top Ten Things I, Mick Jagger, Have Learned After 50 Years In Rock 'n' Roll'. On the list was a light-hearted dig at Maroon 5's song 'Moves Like Jagger' featuring Christina Aguilera, the video of which begins with footage of Jagger in his younger years and later shows singer Adam Levine trying out some of the famous dance moves. Jagger had written on his list that he had learned that "You don't earn a cent when someone does a song about having moves like Jagger." The music legend also drew laughs from his other advice which included, "Be considerate of other hotel guests - trash your room by 10 pm" and, "Before shouting 'Hi Seattle!' make sure you're in Seattle."
'Moves Like Jagger' is not the first number one hit that has referenced the star; he has also been mentioned in Ke$ha's 'TiK ToK' ('We kick em to the curb unless they look like Mick Jagger') and Cher Lloyd's 'Swagger Jagger'.
The Bourne Legacy star also had another ace up his sleeve when he showed us that not only can he do funny, and boy he can do funny, but he can even sing too! For the first skit of the show Renner discussed how he wishes that he could write and sing all the music for his films, before taking to a nearby piano and revealing one hell of a voice. To be honest, we're not sure if the first skit was even a skit at all, because that guy can sing!
Straight after that Renner and the SNL faithful sent up California natives, highlighting and lampooning all of their cliches a tee. Then, in something of a spin on the first sketch, Renner's next performance featured Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine flexing his acting muscles in a sketch that featured the two engaged in a never ending stalemate between two gun-toting gangsters. As Levine finally walks away from the awkward stand-off Renner then injected laughs once more by turning to the fellow stand-off participants he asked the: "Was that Adam Levine?"

Colleagues and friends, Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera have been working together this past eighteen months on UK export 'The Voice' and despite certain on air spats, they actually seem to remain very close.
Last month, in response to a vast amount of criticism that Aguilera was receiving in response to her weight gain Levine was vocal in his defense of her. At the time he said, quoted in E!, "The one thing about the culture right now-celebrity culture particularly-that is so ugly is [that] people feel like they can just say nasty things about other people.she gets a lot of it.. It pisses me off. Of course I have her back, of course I defend her."
Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres he has repeated his defences. Ellen had praised him for his efforts and he said "It's a very basic thing- She should be left alone. No one should bother or haggle her about her weight or anything that she does or says. So, that's it. That's how I feel about it." Levine is currently recording for both season three and four of The Voice, which he's found somewhat confusing, especially knowing that he'll miss Christina. "The first time we [shot both series in a week] was trippy, because it wasn't the original people, but it was also a lot of fun. I remember thinking to myself, I love these guys, but just miss Cee Lo and Christina. But then I realized, it's OK because I'm going to see them in a week from now." Usher and Shakira have taken the places of Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera as the coaches in the US talent show. Series three is currently airing and series four, with the new judges, is set to return on March 25th 2013.
A special Donald Trump announcement, which saw him promise to donate $5 million to Obama's favourite charity if the president released his college records and passport information, has been met by a less than favourable response from a few choice celebrities.
In a rare moment of genuine wit, which would probably be better applied to some of his music, Adam Levine of Maroon 5 tweeted: "Will someone tell Donald Trump we don't live in Gotham City?" And it was the micro blogging site that proved to be a breeding ground for comic responses to the frankly bizarre request from Trump; ‘The Office’ star Rainn Wilson posted, "I will pay 5 million dollars to see copies of Donald Trump's humility," while her show’s creator, Ricky Gervais tweeted, "I will give $500 to charity if Donald Trump gives up his hairdresser's passport and college records." Singer Josh Groban tweeted, "For Halloween I'm going to be Donald Trump! Gonna comb over my hair and not give 5 million dollars to charity!"
Perhaps the most important commentator on Mr. Trump is Obama himself, who of course was the subject of the odd YouTube upload. "What's this thing with Trump and you?" Leno asked on The Tonight Show, reports The L.A Times. "This all dates back to when we were growing up together in Kenya," Obama responded. "We had constant run-ins on the soccer field. He wasn't very good and resented it. When we finally moved to America, I thought it would be over." We at Contact Music will give $5 to our chosen charity if Donald Trump ever says anything sensible. And that’s a promise.

The US season of The Voice powered on through another weekend with spots on the teams becoming harder to come by and more and more decent singers falling by the wayside as a result. With Christina Aguilera having recently announced that she won't be appearing on the coaching panel next year, and nor will Cee-Lo Green, it looks like she's now got a strong chance to make a winning exit after managing to nab a much-improved Dez Duron from the other coaches to put him in her team of 16.
Remember the name Dez Duron? If you were following The Voice last season you might do; he gave up college to audition for the NBC program last time out only suffer the indignity of having no coaches turned towards him. Ouch. Nevertheless, he's come on strong this year and sounded the part, whilst the judges were in no doubt about his physical prowess even before turning round, thanks to screams from more besotted members of the audience.
There was another potential contender for a final place too, according to Rolling Stone, with 17 year-old Brandon Mahone heading over to Maroon 5's Adam Levine after impressing with a soulful voice that had all four coaches putting in an offer for him. Another of Levine's picks, Michelle Brooks Thompson impressed as well. With the knockouts due to begin soon, the competition is sure hotting up.
It's getting tighter and tighter as we get to the last "blind" rounds of The Voice in the USA. With a lot of the spots now taken, there were some good performers finding it a struggle on the latest edition of the show, although in spite of that there was still good news for a couple of standouts during the course of the NBC show.
Among the most impressive was 17 year-old Brandon Mahone, as well as leading female contenders Michelle Brooks-Thompson and Terisa Griffin. Whilst these first timers impressed, their stories were eclipsed by 22 year-old Dez Duron; Duron had dropped out of college to audition in the season last year but didn't manage to turn a single coach's chair. It was a different story this time for Duron though, the delighted performer seeing Blake Shelton, Cee-Lo Green and Christina Aguilera battling for his attention. Ultimately he decided to join Team Christina.
As for the 17 year-old Mahone, it was Maroon 5's Adam Levine who proved most persuasive, telling the starlet after he'd belted out The Temptations' I Wish It Would Rain that "you seem to have studied what it is to be a performer from that era to the point where you felt like one of them ... it felt like you were just the next in line." They were words Mahone couldn't help but listen to and he'll be a threat as the weeks progress.
We're only one week into the third season NBC's The Voice, but the network is already announcing changes and they involve the departure of Christina Aguilera, as well as fellow original judge Cee-Lo Green. This season will be the last that's seen of the pair, as there is a new Aguilera album, Lotus to promote and tour, whilst Green is taking time off to work on new music and a scripted comedy about his life.
In their place? None other than Colombian singing sensation Shakira and general R'n'B superstar Usher. Not bad, as replacements go. "We are thrilled to welcome Usher and Shakira to The Voice, " Robert Greenblatt, the chairman of NBC Entertainment, said in a statement reported by The Clicker. "The addition of these popular iconic artists continues the tradition established by Christina, Cee Lo, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Doing two back-to-back cycles of this show requires a tremendous amount of time, and we are happy to accommodate the commitments made by Christina and Cee Lo."
Those disappointed at the news need not fear, though. Both have indicated that they will be returning to the show once they've finished with their other projects. "By pursuing my first passion of music during the break, I am also able to come back and offer even more to my team on 'The Voice' in the future," Aguilera said in a statement, whilst Green commented "Thank you, NBC, for supporting my decision to take this season four hiatus! I will return for season five and will be watching season four."

With the reason behind Maroon 5's name kept from the public, it turns out that now, the only people to know it are the band members themselves and singer Billy Joel.
Adam Levine, the frontman for Maroon 5, recently broke a pact with the band when he told the singer Billy Joel about the meaning behind the band's name. Until now, only the members of Maroon 5 actually knew the meaning behind the name.
The revelation only came after Joel offered to tell Levine a similar secret. In a recent interview, Levine stated, "I'm a huge Billy Joel fan. I was having dinner at Nobu in New York, and I ran into Jay-Z, who I'd just met, and he introduced me to Billy. I had to ask him, 'What do you say in the sax solo in Still Rock And Roll?, because I thought he said, 'All right, Rico.' He was astonished. He took a second and said, 'All right, Rico.'"
It was this secret that led to Levine disclosing the reason behind the band's name. He continued on to explain "Later he came over and asked, 'Where'd you get the name?' It's the stupidest, s**tiest story you've ever heard, but I had to tell him."
