Plans to relaunch the ABC soaps One Life to Live and All My Children on the Internet are moving forward, with producers Prospect Park announcing that they have signed a deal with Ron Carlivati to serve as head writer and consulting producer of One Life to Live . Carlivati has served as head writer of the soap since 2007. The show is due to end its run on ABC in January. Prospect Park said that it is awaiting approval of The Deal with Carlivati from the Writers Guild of America before announcing when the soap will be launched online. The production company also announced the names of the actors signed for the online production. That deal is awaiting approval from AFTRA. One Life to Live and All My Children each had budgets of $50 million a year, a figure that could not be justified for an online production. There has been no indication of how much salaries for the actors and crew are being cut in order to make an online production feasible.
