In a case pertaining to events that were said to have taken place in July, the 38 year-old pleaded no contest to a single count of misdemeanour vandalism while three vandalism counts and one count of misdemeanour domestic violence were dropped, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Superior Court said, via Reuters.

The 'Candy Shop' rapper was accused on kicking in the door of his ex-girlfriend's house, then kicking her and proceeding to destroy a television set, some furniture and a chandelier with a total estimated damage of $7,100. Daphne Narvaez, who models under the name Daphne Joy, reportedly dated Jackson for three years and has a child with him.

Now a restraining order has been issued, meaning Jackson is not allowed to go within 100 feet of Narvaez and must not contact her or her family during the trial. The LA County judge also ordered that 50 must submit all the weapons her possesses within the next 24 hours with no word on if and when he'll have then returned.

Jackson has also been ordered to pay Narvaez the $7,100 in restitution and $2,390 in fines, attend counselling sessions, and undertake 30 days' worth of community service. If convicted on all counts, he could have faced five years in jail as well as $46,000 in costs. At first 50 pleaded not guilty to the five counts before agreeing to the plea deal.

As Jackson left court on Monday, he was spotted being handed paperwork regarding a child custody battle, although he has not publically confirmed that Narvaez's child is his. However, he does have a 16-year-old son named Marquise with his ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins.

This isn't 50's first brush with the law as he allegedly started to deal drugs aged 12 and has arrested numerous times over the years for charges related to drugs, driving and criminal possession of a weapon. He was also shot nine times when he was on the cusp on rap fame in 2000.
