Zulu Winter's second single, We Should Be Swimming, will be released on February 27th, through their new label, Play It Again Sam Records. It follows on from their debut single Never Leave / Let's Move Back to Front, which was released on Double Denim. Zulu Winter's debut album, as yet untitled, will be released in May 2012.
The video for We Should Be Swimming was directed by Cagoule's Abby Warrilow and Lewis Gourlay and features the dancers Joanne Pirrie and Freya Jeffs. Set on a chilly looking Rannoch Moor in the Scottish highlands, the dancers perform some stunning ballet while frontman Will Daunt looks into the distance. The other members of Zulu Winter - Iain Lock (bass), Dom Millard (keyboards), Henry Walton (guitar) and Guy Henderson (drums) - can also be seen under sheets of ice.
In January 2012, Zulu Winter played Holland's Eurosonic Festival and London's New To Q at XOYO. They'll be jetting off to Japan for the Hostess Weekender, before making a return trip to London to perform a headline spot at NME Awards Show at Cargo. With support slots with The Horrors in Japan and Southeast Asia; an Australian tour and spots at SXSW and The Secret Garden Party, 2012 looks set to be a busy one for Zulu Winter.
