Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband wants her body to be plastinated and put on show when she dies.
Prince Frederick von Anhalt has said he wants to preserve the 93-year-old Hollywood legend's body, so her beauty will last forever- saying he would prefer The Method used by German doctor Gunther von Hagens, who replaces water and fat in bodies with plastics, leaving them in a fully preserved fashion.
Prince Frederick told German newspaper Bild: "My wife has always dreamt that her beauty would be immortal.
"I would like to show the plastinated body of Zsa Zsa Gabor in the context of a scene in one of her films."
Gunther has staged a number of different shows around the world which feature the skinless bodies of anonymous and unidentifiable donors, preserved and posed in a number of different ways to allow members of the public to study human anatomy.
Zsa Zsa has suffered ailing health this year and repeatedly been hospitalised since July when she had to undergo a hip replacement operation after falling out of bed. At one point a priest was called to read her last rites.
Earlier this week Zsa Zsa was again hospitalised, with flu-like symptoms and body pain, but later released and taken home, where she is now said to be resting.
Meanwhile Zsa Zsa's daughter Francesca - whose father is the actress' ex-husband, hotelier Conrad Hilton - has accused Prince Frederick of creating a "circus Atmosphere" around her mother's condition.
A spokesperson for Francesca said: "Francesca is not pleased with the situation and the care of her mother and what has been happening to her while at home. It is not certain what kind of care and security she is receiving."
Of her hospital visit, the representative added: "Please know that Zsa Zsa was not in any life-threatening situation.
"Zsa Zsa's doctors told Francesca that it was only routine and that she was stable and responsive. We are not sure if she really needed to be transported to the hospital at all."
