Ailing actress Zsa Zsa Gabor's daughter has slammed the star's husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt over plans to have a child via a surrogate.
Von Anhalt, 67, revealed on Thursday (14Apr11) he is considering becoming a father, saying, "It was always my wife's dream for us to have a child... and even though we won't be using any of her eggs, she would be thrilled to know I'm going through with this."
But Gabor's only child Francesca Hilton is fuming about Von Anhalt's public statement, slamming her stepfather for creating publicity while her mother, who has been in and out of hospital since she fell and broke her hip last summer (10), is sick.
Her spokesman Edward Lozzi tells the Afp, "Francesca is shocked but not surprised that vonanahlt (sic) continually creates publicity for himself at the expense of the legacy of her mother Zsa Zsa Gabor.
"We are still trying to get over his wish to have Zsa Zsa's body preserved and displayed. What's next from von Anhalt? Zsa Zsa clones?"
However, Von Anhalt has brushed off Hilton's remarks, responding: "She doesn't know anything. She's not involved in the family, she doesn't know what's going on. Whatever she says, I really don't give a damn."
