Fact: Zendaya recreated Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey's famous Dirty Dancing lift on the streets of New York on Friday (07Oct16), with the help of her trainer, Mike Aidala. The singer/actress shared the big jump on Instagram, in a photo of Aidala holding her high above his head after a gym session. "We poppin’ in these streets NYC streets," she captioned the snap.

The Daya by Zendaya line will be sold in U.S. retailer MACy's beginning next year (16). She says, “I am obsessed with shoes. It is a perfect baby step into all the facets that I want to do.”

Fact: Disney star Zendaya Coleman was inspired by Madonna for her look on the blue carpet for the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday (10Aug14). The actress/singer, who is the newest spokesperson for the pop diva's Material Girl fashion line, donned a fuchsia dress and short bob hairdo, which Coleman says is an "update version" of Madonna's memorable look from the 1984 music video for Material Girl. Coleman even took home the award for Candies' Choice Style Icon at the prizegiving.
