Styles was speaking to Entertainment Weekly ahead of the latest leg of their ‘On The Road… Again’ tour kicking off in San Diego on July 9th. The massive stadium tour has suffered from a dip in ticket sales, but that hasn't affected the band's mindset at all.

The Little Mix singer has been the subject of a vocal backlash campaign on social media ever since her fiancee quit the band earlier this year.
Perrie Edwards has spoken out to try to quell the criticism aimed her way ever since her fiancée Zayn Malik quit One Direction. Edwards has been consistently accused by 1D fans of encouraging Zayn to leave the band back in March, but she denies playing any role in his departure.
The Little Mix star, 21, spoke matter-of-factly to The Sun’s Fabulous magazine, asserting that Zayn came to the decision himself: “People have said did I do this, did I do that? No matter what decision he made, I was always going to support him. If he'd wanted to stay, I would have supported him just the same as I have done since he's left… …If he's happy then I'm happy.”

There's no ring on that finger. Yet.

Gallagher sounded off again about Zayn's departure from 1D almost three months ago on James Corden's 'The Late, Late Show'.
Noel Gallagher has spoken out on Zayn Malik’s departure from One Direction in a new interview, expressing disbelief at the star’s choice not to tough it out with the group as, in his view, they have “at most, five years left”.
The former Oasis songwriter was talking to James Corden on ‘The Late, Late Show’ on Monday night, and said that he failed to grasp why Zayn would choose to quit the band when the group had a limited lifespan in any case. “I can't understand why he would do it,” he said, “because they've only got, at most, five years left.”

One Direction: From five to four
However, 1D have proved that they’re ready to move on having made their first appearance without Zayn on James Corden’s Late Late Show in America.
After Louis and Zayn’s twitter spat the band are looking to move on with an awards show appearance.
One Direction will be appearing at next weekend’s Billboard Music Awards, in their first public outing since Zayn Malik quit the band back in March. Billboard have confirmed that Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan will all be in attendance at the ceremony, where they will be presenting a trophy.
One Direction, now without Zayn Malik.
The group will surely be hoping to put recent dramas behind them with the appearance as they step out for the first time as a fourpiece. Last month former member Zayn Malik made his first public appearance since leaving the band, at the Asian Awards in London.
All it took was one very 'naughty boy' to start a boyband Twitter fight of epic proportions.
Mayweather vs Pacquiao might have been billed as the fight of the century last weekend, but don’t underestimate the drama which can occur when a former boyband member, his producer and his ex-bandmate get into a twitter spat. Yes just over a month after One Direction went from five to four, it appears the gloves are well and truly off between former member Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson.
Zayn announced his departure from the boyband back in March.
It all started on Wednesday afternoon, when producer Naughty Boy, who’s been working with Zayn on solo material, tweeted an pic of the pair using an image filter along with the caption, ‘Replace this’.
Malik's friend, producer Naughty Boy, also got involved in the social media spat on Wednesday.
On Wednesday afternoon, a notable feud broke out on Twitter between Malik and remaining 1D member Louis Tomlinson, later continued on Zayn’s behalf by his producer friend Naughty Boy. For the first time, it indicates that there might be bad blood surrounding Malik’s departure after all.

Zayn Malik has changed his Twitter handle and bio, removing all reference to his former band One Direction. Although this was inevitable (Malik left the band in March), his fans appear unable to accept this and have taken to social media to mourn.
Zayn Malik has deleted all references to One Direction on his Twitter account. His Twitter handle, which was @ZaynMalik1D until yesterday (Thursday 30th April), has been changed to just @ZaynMalik. The 22-year-old has also deleted the link to the One Direction website from his bio. To say One Direction fans are taking this recent update badly is something of an understatement.

One Direction have been writing songs for an upcoming fifth album, and Payne was describing them to Capital FM.
Barely a month after the departure of Zayn Malik, One Direction are clearly wasting no time in getting on with their career. Group member Liam Payne has suggested that the songs for their new album sound “great” and a bit like Oasis.
Payne was speaking to Capital FM on Tuesday morning and said “the album's coming together really well actually. The boys we've been writing with have come up with some great, great songs that are kind of like a bit Oasis-y almost, which is ace. I love that.”

Having broken the hearts of millions when Robbie Williams quit in 1995, Take That have had first hand experience of carrying on life as a four-piece group.
Mark Owen was speaking to British radio station Magic FM when he was asked about the similarity of the two situations, and replied “Do you know what, one thing that we never did when Rob left us the first time is we never... You get caught up in your world and you forget sometimes... hopefully somebody's phoned Zayn and made sure he's alright, because it's, you know, it's difficult.”

If you got the chance to ask Stephen Hawking about anything, surely Zayn Malik would top the list?
We all know Stephen Hawking is a genius who can give us answers on some of the universe’s most mind-boggling questions. So what better person is there to ask about the most troubling and puzzling question of recent times, what is the cosmological effect of Zayn leaving One Direction?
Stephen Hawking may have just given million of One Directioners hope.
Professor Hawking was speaking at the Sydney Opera House on Saturday night via a 3D hologram projection from his actual location at Cambridge University in the U.K. During the talk Hawking answered questions from his daughter, journalist Lucy Hawking and physicist Paul Davies, as well as audience members at the Opera house.
He speaks! The former 1D member gets back on social media for the first time since his split from the group last month.
After nearly a month of social media silence, former One Direction member Zayn Malik has tweeted for the first time since his departure from the group in the middle of the South East Asian leg of their world tour.
“Wanna say thanks to everyone that's been there for me over the last few weeks,” he wrote. “Love you all.. you know who you are x.” Nothing too profound or revelatory, but it’s a sign that the 22 year old is ready to re-engage with the world and, perhaps, some word of solo material.
