British royal Zara Phillips is an Olympic medal winner after helping Great Britain's equestrian team land silver on Tuesday (31Jul12).
Queen Elizabeth II's granddaughter, competing in her first Olympic Games, and her four teammates were pipped to gold by the Germans after the three-day eventing competition in London, while New Zealand finished third.
Her cousins Princes William and Harry and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge showed up to cheer on Phillips, who said it was an honour to represent her country.
She says, "The crowd was amazing all the way along. All these people being here is just incredible. It really makes you want to do better, to go faster."
