Zara Phillips, the Queen's Grand-Daughter, married England Rugby star Mike Tindall yesterday (30th July) in Edinburgh. Although the second Royal wedding on the year may not have generated as much interest as the first, they did manage to trump Prince William and Kate Middleton in one area - the glam guest list that included famous names from Sport, TV and pop. The Daily Mail reported that although Prince William's wedding was packed with Heads of State, politicians and Royals, the wedding of Phillips and Tindall had more recognizable faces from the celeb world.
Saturdays singer Una Healy was there with her rugby star boyfriend BEN FODEN, and she tweeted just before the wedding: "Thanks to my stylists Frank Strachan and Lloyd Powell for sorting me a Philip Treacy Hat for The Royal Wedding tomorrow!...Just about to take off for Edinburgh with Ben, really excited for the weekend." Soap Star Katherine Kelly was in attendance and revealed she had known Tindall for years: "I went to school in Wakefield with Mike. Our parents live in the same village and we've stayed really good mates." Other guests included TV presenter Kirsty Gallagher and a whole host of rugby union stars, most of whom won the World Cup in 2003, including JONNY WILKINSON, AUSTIN HEALY, MARTIN JOHNSON and England Captain LEWIS MOODY.
