Rocker Zakk Wylde's medical issues has forced the guitarist to pull his band Black Label Society off the bill of the upcoming Pedal To The Metal Tour.
Wylde, Ozzy Osbourne's former sideman, is currently undergoing treatment for a reported rare genetic clotting disorder, and his recovery is slower than expected.
In a recent Twitter.com post to fans, the rocker wrote, "I was given a CT scan where they found three clots. I was then told each one of the clots passed through my heart."
Wylde has been given permission to promote his new limited-edition Epiphone Graveyard Disciple guitar at an in-store event in New York on Saturday (31Oct09), but doctors insist he won't be able to tour, as planned, with Mudvayne, Static-X and Bury Your Dead.
