Zachary Quinto has ''been in therapy for a long time''.
The 38-year-old actor, who appears in the role of Spock in the 'Star Trek' reboot, has revealed the admiration he has for psychologists and thinks therapy can be of ''tremendous benefit'' if patients are willing to embrace the idea.
Asked what he'd like to do if he wasn't an actor, Zachary said: ''Probably be a psychologist. I love therapy - I've been in therapy for a long time. I think psychologists are a tremendous benefit to people if you're prepared to dive in as far as you're willing to go into yourself. Officials At The U.s. Embassy In Moscow Are Defying Russia's Ban On Gay Films By Adding A New Movie In Which James Franco And Zachary Quinto Play Lovers To Their Amfest Line-up.
I Am Michael was added to next month's (Sep15) independent film festival, which is sponsored by the embassy, on Friday (21Aug15), and is sure to upset Russian officials who have banned artistic displays of homosexuality and gay propaganda from their cities.
The film chronicles a real-life gay activist, played by Franco, who turns his back on his homosexuality and becomes a Christian pastor with a girlfriend.
Russia's anti-gay propaganda law from 2013 does not explicitly ban homosexual-themed films, but subjecting Russian youths under the age of 18 to gay behaviour and images is now considered a crime.
