Zach Galifianakis seems to have been styled by Kansas 62-year-old designer Rita Reed. Zach Galifianakis decided to wear the doggy inspired T-shirt as his silly character Alan throughout his new movie 'The Hangover: Part II'.
According to The Kansas City Star, even though Rita Reed had never heard of the 'Hangover' movies, the movie star had decided to wear her T-shirt design over many others. Reed had previously created Friskybizpet Designs in her retirement, taking pictures of her own and friends' pets, placing them onto clothing and gift items.
Reed claims: 'I received a call from Warner Brothers saying that Zach had picked my T-shirt, and they asked if I would be willing to let them use it. I wasn't really quite sure what type of movie it was going to be, but I didn't hesitate in giving them permission'. The sunny yellow t-shirt with a featuring Labrador Retriever already has its own Facebook page, 'Hangover 2 Alan's Yellow Dog Shirt', whilst Urban Outfitters has purchased 16,000 of the shirts to sell in stores.
The first 'Hangover' movie grossed over $450 million worldwide. Zach Galifianakis appears alongside recurring stars Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms in the sequel which was released yesterday (27 May 2011) in the UK.
