The MTV Awards, when Rita Ora literally took the shirt off Zac Efron's back
If you need a lasting image from last night’s MTV Movie Awards then why not have Zac Efron shirtless? The star of That Awkward Moment picked up the award for Best Shirtless Performance at the Los Angeles ceremony and then found himself having another shirtless moment when his was removed by British singer Rita Ora.

When Efron took to the stage to collect his golden popcorn trophy, he tried to ignore the baying crowd who were looking for an in person shirtless performance from the actor. The presenter of the gong, Rita Ora, however knew exactly what the crowd were after and she went behind Efron and ripped his shirt open, much to the delight of the audience and his semi embarrassment.
Whilst you can’t really complain about a shirtless Efron, some internet users have pointed out their might be some sexism going on here. There’s been a few twitter users who have wondered if women retweeting the shirtless pic of Zac might be a bit hypocritical, considering if it had happened to a female star, it probably wouldn't have been so comical.
For Zac’s part, he didn't seem to mind much about the public disrobing, he later tweeted Rita Ora, “Thanks for such a bold move. I don't know if I could've done that on my own.” It’s also worth noting that the actor had written last month, “If I beat Thor- I'm accepting the award shirtless on stage. #movieawards’’, so really Rita was only helping him keep his word.
It’s been a bit of a rocky year for Zac as of late, there was rehab last year and the skid row incident last month. Now the actor is trying to put his troubles behind him as he prepares for his latest movie release, Bad Neighbours, co starring Seth Rogen.
Zac Efron can also pull off the fully clothed look
Ok, so maybe Zac has been a little objectified in the past 24 hours, but you can’t really blame us. We're more just happy to see Zac having a positive moment in the headlines right now, even if it’s just in prasie of his impressive physique.
