Zac Efron is refusing to let his New Year's Eve co-star Michelle Pfeiffer have a quiet night in on 31 December (11) after learning she likes to be in bed early and sleep through the bells.
Promoting their new movie, in which the pair locks lips, Pfeiffer revealed her own New Year's Eve plans are far from glamorous.
She said, "I never make it to midnight. I celebrate New Years at 9pm west coast time. I watch the ball drop (in New York) in my jammies (pyjamas) with some champagne and maybe some pie. I stopped setting those unrealistic expectations for New Year's Eve many years ago."
Upon hearing the actress' sad plans, Efron has decided to make this New Year's Eve something special: "We're gonna change that because you're coming out with me this year! I'll show you how we do it."
